YachtFinancing.com has been snatched on Godaddy auctions

Yacht Financing seems to be the keyword when researching and visiting sites that offer yacht or boat loans. Being in the financial sector, right away I saw great potential with this domain name, for lead gen purposes. I’ve added it to my watchlist and waited for the last 5 minutes of the auction. The domain name was being auctioned off on Godaddy Expired auctions, I won the auction at $2601. The domain’s original registration dates back to 1998, and I love aged domain names.

While the domain is getting closer to the auction end time I was able to research that all other variations of yacht loans, finance, or financing have been registered and in use. Each variation had a website offering boat or yacht financing.

As someone who invests in domains, I’ve sent this project to my development team who started my lead gen website. I’ve also reached out to a few yacht financing companies to make a connection and see how these yacht loans work, how brokers get paid, and what is the average payout on these loans. I’ve even asked how much yacht-selling agents make money on average and was surprised to hear that the average sales commission on a yacht is around 10%, and some of these yacht sales agents had a few million dollar yacht listings.

Anyway, I’m excited to see what will become of this lead gen site, hoping with proper SEO it will generate leads that I can sell or co-broke.

The site will launch in late September or early October 2024.
