Scoring Two Premium Geo Real Estate Domains: RealEstateNYC.com and RealEstateNewYork.com

Oct 24, 2025

While monitoring upcoming expirations, I noticed RealEstateNYC.com was about to drop. Knowing how strong that geo + category combo is, I figured it would easily attract heavy bidding once it hit auction. Instead of waiting, I decided to dig deeper.

Using DomainTools.com, I researched the ownership history and reached out directly to the current owner. It turned out the domain’s pending expiration was simply an oversight on their part. During our initial conversation, I offered $1,000 for RealEstateNYC.com alone, but as negotiations progressed, the discussion expanded to include RealEstateNewYork.com, another incredibly strong companion domain.

After some back-and-forth, we settled on a $7,500 deal for both names.

From an investor’s perspective, these are top-tier acquisitions. Both domains are ultra-relevant, highly brandable, and perfectly aligned with one of the world’s most competitive real estate markets. The search volume and brand potential for New York–based real estate terms are massive, and the names themselves carry inherent authority.

As part of my AgentSites.com initiative, these domains will serve as flagship examples of what high-quality geo-targeted names can bring to the table. Whether leased to a brokerage, developed into a property portal, or held for long-term appreciation, both have exceptional upside.

Acquisitions like these remind me why persistence and research matter so much in domain investing, sometimes, reaching out directly before a name hits auction can make all the difference.
