FloridaHomeLoans.com Acquired

Dec 22, 2025

I successfully acquired FloridaHomeLoans.com at a NameJet expired domain auction for $5,511. As someone who has been in the mortgage space for decades, I had to chase this name. I honestly thought I would pick it up cheaper, but someone else clearly wanted it just as much as I did. For me, as an end user, this domain is a perfect fit for what I’ve been building with MortgageSites.com and MortgageBrands.com.

Florida isn’t just another state, it’s one of the most active housing and mortgage markets in the country. Between population growth, investor activity, second homes, and nonstop inbound migration, Florida remains a top destination for both homeowners and capital. Right now, people are relocating to Florida in record numbers, Investors are actively financing short-term and long-term rentals, and demand for home loans continues to grow. A domain like FloridaHomeLoans.com aligns perfectly with this momentum.

I have built a marketplace for mortgage-related domains on MortgageBrands.com, and now I have launched MortgageSites.com, which is my platform that develops mortgage lead-gen sites using our robust mortgage domain name portfolio, with names over 1,500 in that sector alone. Rather than buying domains to flip, my strategy focuses on Exact-match, category-defining mortgage domains that plug directly into MortgageSites.com (development) and MortgageBrands.com (portfolio showcase). This is precisely the type of domain that benefits from being built, not parked or listed for sale.

For a pure flipper, this price might feel aggressive. But for me, the value equation changes completely. This isn’t about resale alone, it’s about long-term digital leverage. FloridaHomeLoans.com has the potential to become the go-to site for home loans in the Sunshine State.

I’ve been investing in domains since 2004, and the older I get in this space, the more selective I become. Names like FloridaHomeLoans.com don’t come up often, and when they do, they rarely stay cheap.

On to the next asset.
